Now published: The Hope of Youth: Tales of Heartbreaking Beauty is a book of poems that Jaalah wrote over the course of four years. She started writing poetry in Fairleigh Dickinson University in scenic Madison NJ where she got the nickname J-lo when Jennifer Lopez started going by that nick name.
 Her interests are varied. From Blogging to bird watching, from playing the clarinet to teaching creative writing, she loves learning.

 The Hope of Youth is a culmination of beautiful poems she had performed at coffee houses and churches over the years. She now teaches creative writing at Botanical Bay Book Store in Netcong NJ.
